Supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norway, and the University of Agder, Norway, the Regional Training Programme is organized by the Norwegian Copyright Development Association (NORCODE), in cooperation with the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO Academy), with assistance from the following international, non-governmental organizations:
- International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFRRO)
- The International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) (tbc)
- International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) (tbc)
- The Societies’ Council for the Collective Management of Performers’ Rights (SCAPR) (tbc)
The programme is primarily tailored for persons in a leading position in a collective management organization (CMO). It is equally well suited for government representatives who, as policy makers, wants to enhance knowledge on how the copyright system functions in practice.
