PSN is a CMO for performers in Nepal.
Performers Society of Nepal (PSN) was established in 2009 as Nepal Singing Society (NSS). It was registered in the Office of the Nepal Copy Right Registrar in 2002 with the objective of working as a Collective Management Organization (CMO) for performers. PSN aims to be a strong and efficient CMO for performers in Nepal which would contribute towards increasing respect for the proprietary rights of the performers and help to protect their economic and moral rights as well.
MRCSN, PSN and MPSN (music producers) have come together to form a joint licensing arrangement in Nepal. NORCODE is working to help establish a better arrangement between producers and PSN in distribution, administration and collection.
NORCODE has worked with PSN since 2013.
